"Our group of four came for lunch around 1230PM with a reservation made the night before. Food and ambiance were great, the staff needs more training though. Hiring an experienced supervisor should be a top priority to make this place a must visit"

"Impressed with the standard of restaurant. Although selective dishes not to personal liking. Would be great if improve / add on wine selections. Overall is a great meal, attentive service within small town"

"Relatively new restaurant & decided to give it a try. The price is slightly higher but the food quality & service justified it. Ordered few dishes for dinner and looking forward my next visit to try their dim sum."

"This Chinese restaurant is located inside Sheraton Hotel, accessible via the elevator.. you can park at the hotel’s underground parking, next door at UTC building or across the road (depending on what you’re willing to pay). The restaurant isn’t big in size but it has a selection between public sharing space or private rooms, depending on your number of diners & spendings. Overall, it was a great experience for me and family with attentive & well mannered crew. They were courteous, polite and smiley throughout the evening. The food all came rather quickly, and the taste of our dishes were 9/10 and I’d highly recommend the Peking Roast duck. The pricing is on the high side, but if you’re judging in terms of quality/value for money, I think it was worth the price tag paid. Definitely will visit again, thank you for the great food ! Advisable to reserve ahead of time than to walk in, esp for the weekend"

"Best dimsum I have tried so far in Kuching, especially the Har Gow. The truffle mushroom buns are a delight to look at and to eat too. Nice, clean, pleasant environment to enjoy, at a very reasonable price when compared to other dimsum places around. Really nice for a Halal restaurant."

"Beautiful interior. Not busy on Sunday morning. Menu choices not too large. Dimsums are wonderfully made (see photos). Tastes quite decent too. Sea prawn have a nice bite to it. Note that the restaurant is halal."

"I’ve been searching for a good dim sum spot in Kuching for ages, and it’s been surprisingly hard to find one that really delivers — until I tried Gu Jin. Every dish we tried was beautifully presented and packed with flavour - the mushroom buns were unforgettable! Service was excellent. The servers were incredibly friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back."

"Gu Jin is a beautifully designed Chinese restaurant with a refined and welcoming ambience. The decor is elegant and adds to a pleasant dining experience. The food is impressive — especially the butter prawns which are rich and flavorful and the beef brisket tendon which is tender and well-stewed. Service is attentive and courteous, making the overall experience smooth and enjoyable. Definitely a great place for a quality Chinese meal in a comfortable setting."
